Full Blast<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Full Blast, our winner of the Purina Cover Dog awards, the derby Flanagan Award, the all-age Seminatore Award as well as the Grand National Grouse Championship has retired. \u00a0\u201cJeb\u201d, about to turn 8 years old, has more than earned his respite from the competitive field trial world. \u00a0 Pro Dave Hughes handled \u201cJeb\u201d through this all-age career. \u00a0Known for his power on the ground coupled with an eye-catching, flashy way of carrying himself, \u201cJeb\u201d scored championship wins across the cover dog spectrum. \u00a0Known as a dog who could dig up a bird when birds were scarce, he scored in the closing minutes of his hunting hour in several important wins. Additionally, he earned a reputation as a dog who performed well in the heat recording wins in large fields with the thermometer registering at and above the 80 degree mark.<\/p>\n<p>Full Blast continues to be available at stud. \u00a0\u201cJeb\u201d has had a lot of high quality results as a sire. His 35 winning offspring place him as a leading sire of cover dogs today. \u00a0Especially when considering the high quality of his offsprings\u2019 wins, he rates at the top among living cover dog setter sires. His\u00a0offspring have won The Grand National Grouse Puppy Classic, \u00a0the Grand National Grouse Futurity (twice), \u00a0the one-hour National Derby Classic as well as earning a place in the championship circle.<\/p>\n<p>In retirement, \u201cJeb\u201d will be living the life as a house dog and hunting companion with the Matt Miles family in Duncannon, PA. \u00a0Calm, happy and responsive, \u201cJeb\u201d has the personality to be a family dog.
